Seeking info on fate of Marshall Cozier, husband of Alice Murtagh/Murtha Robinett Cozier who died in Bovill, Latah Co., Idaho 12 Oct 1911, leaving husband and two children, Marshall Neil, 13, and June, about 3. Obituary says she was buried Moscow, Idaho, Catholic cemetery. Marshall Cozier, the widower, born December 1864 in Ohio per 1900 federal census, possibly in/near Wapakoneta, Auglaize Co. His father was a Methodist minister. Marshall was a locomotive engineer on the former Potlatch Co.'s logging railroad that ran from Bovill to Clarkston, Washington, and was listed in the 1920 census as the "head" of a logging camp bunkhouse with numerous occupants. He was the brother of a prominent figure, Robert V. Cozier of Moscow, Idaho, the US attorney for Idaho from 1897 to his death in 1904. His mother's 1916 obituary says Marshall was of Moscow, Idaho, and that there was another son, George Cozier of Bovill, and a daughter, Mrs. H.C. Shaver of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho (her husband was a newspaper publisher there). Alice Cozier was my great-grandfather's half sister. Willing to share added info.
ALLEN, JOHNSON, NAYLOR, PATTERSON, PERKINS, ZEIGLER posted by Carla Davidson on Wednesday, October 18, 2000
I am researching my ggreataunt Rebecca E. Allen Naylor and her decendents. Rebecca was born to David and Diane Patterson Allen on October 22, 1863 in Benton co, OR. They moved near Moscow in the early 1870's. Rebecca married John L. Naylor on August 7, 1881. They had four children; Ruth, Ralph, Roy, and Neppa. It appears only Ruth and Roy married. Ruth to Fred Perkins and Roy to Floy Zeigler. There seems to be only three grandchildren. Pearl E. Perkins married to ?Jesse C. Johnson, Lois Naylor married to ?Wade A. Patterson, and John Naylor married to ?. Can anyone tell me if they remained in Latah co. Are there any decendents remaining. Rebecca and John had a sizeable ranch near Moscow. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Carla
