Alicea Louise Zickert, 45, Moscow

Alicea Louise Zickert, 45, passed away Oct. 5, 2011, at her home in Moscow.

At the age of 15, she was in a very serious motorcycle accident in Germany. Since her accident, her health had become progressively worse.

Alicea graduated from Bitburg High School in Germany in 1984. She attended the University of Maryland in Munich, Okaloosa-Walton College in Florida, University of Colorado in Denver, and the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Her life was filled with art, cooking and five fuzzy felines.

Alicea leaves behind her mother; stepfather; father; two brothers; stepsister and stepbrother; uncles; and five nieces. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Robert C. and Lucy Flake Blackwell of Leland, Miss, and paternal grandparents, Rosella Mable Cronin Zickert and Martin C.E. Zickert.

The burial will be in Greenwood, Wis. in spring 2012, where she will be buried beside her paternal grandmother, Rosella Mable Cronin Zickert, and grandfather, Martin C.E. Zickert.
