Frank Harwood Wilson,
63, owner and manager of Wilson Drug Store in Genesee for the past 20 years,
passed away in his sleep Thursday, November 30, at his home. He had been in ill
health for several years but had worked at the drug store as much as his health
permitted.
He was born in Genesee July 24, 1904, the son of Milton S. and
Happie Wilson. He grew to manhood here and graduated from Genesee High School.
He was a graduate of the Washington State College School of Pharmacy, Pullman,
in 1934. He also had served four years in the Navy as a Chief Pharmacist Mate.
On November 30, 1934 he married Esther Clark, who survives him at the family
home. Other survivors include a son, Donald, now stationed with the U.S. Navy at
Venezuela; his mother, Mrs. Happie Wilson, Lewiston; and one brother, Lloyd,
Genesee.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 2, at 2:00 p.m.
in the Genesee Community Church with the Rev. John Moore officiating. Short's
Chapel is in charge of arrangements, burial will be in the Genesee City
Cemetery.
