Obituary - Lester P. White

Lester P. White, 76, of Bovill, died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, at Gritman Medical Center in Moscow.

Lester was born Nov. 22, 1935, at Ault, Colo., to Lester and Flossie White, their only child. He attended high school at Greeley, Colo. After high school he went to work as a carpenter for the U.S. government, building houses in California and Marshall Islands.

Lester moved to Bovill in 1973, buying Baileys Bar and Cafe. He partnered with Tim Blank forming Reliable Construction working in Idaho and Arizona. Lester was married three times, all ending in divorce.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and is survived by a daughter, along with many friends.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Feb. 25 at the Bovill Presbyterian Church. A covered-dish dinner celebration will follow at Bailey's Bar in Bovill.
