Charles Ray Wedin passed away peacefully in his home Friday, Sept. 21, 2012.
Charles was born in rural Genesee, March 29, 1951, to Jesse Ray and Carmen (Stanley) Wedin. Soon after graduating as a Genesee Bulldog in 1969, he started a family and began his career with the McGregor Company. He stayed with the company until 2011. Along with his professional agricultural advice, he was always quick to offer a joke and share his trademark laugh.
"Chuck" was an avid, lifelong outdoorsman and his family and friends will treasure the numerous hunting and fishing adventures they shared. He will also be remembered for his self-declared "ancient Swedish cooking secrets."
Charles is survived by his son, Josh, his wife Amanda and their children Clayton, Abigail, Madeline and Isabella Wedin; his daughter, Jessica, her husband, Matt, and their daughter, Jane Barrett; and his brother, John Wedin, his wife, Julie, and their daughter, Marie, and her husband, Justin Kelly.
He will truly be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him.
There will be a private family memorial. Any memorials may be made to the Juliaetta-Kendrick Food Bank.
We love you.
