Henry Schwenne Dies In California

Henry Schwenne, of Watsonville, California, passed away March 10 after a brief illness. He was the son of Frank and Magdelena Schwenne born at Uniontown, Washington, August 18, 1892. In 1915 he was married to Mamie Schlerth in Genesee.

Following their marriage they farmed at Okonagon [sic], Washington. After her death he moved back to Genesee for a few years before moving to California, where he was in the fertilizer business until his retirement.

In 1934 he married Julie Peixoto who survives him at their home. He is also survived by a daughter, Esther Peixoto of Kansas City, Mo. Two sons preceded him in death. He also leaves many nieces and nephews in this area.

Services and burial were in Watsonville.
