Judy Ann Scallorn, 63, of Moscow, died Sept. 5, 2012, in Superior, Mont., following a camping trip with friends.
She was born July 7, 1949, in Pauls Valley, Okla. Judy was the daughter of Henry and June (Jackson) Williams.
Judy attended and graduated from Lindsay High School in 1967. She then went on to Eastern Oklahoma University for a couple of years, before attending College of Santa Fe, where she earned a bachelor's degree in history.
Judy met Tom Scallorn and they were married June 1, 1969, in Lindsay, Okla. They were married for 43 years.
Judy was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Moscow. She enjoyed reading, sewing, embroidering, canning, singing, socializing, and was known as an excellent cook. She always had a hug for her many friends.
Judy is survived by her husband, Tom Scallorn, of the family home in Moscow; two children, Bruce and his wife Ann Scallorn, of Moscow, and D.J. Scallorn of Moscow; one grandchild, Samantha of Moscow; one brother, Jim and his wife Vickie Williams of Oklahoma; and one niece. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Trinity Baptist Church in Moscow. Burial will be conducted at Moscow Cemetery, Moscow. A public viewing will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday at Short's Funeral Chapel of Moscow. There will be a reception of family and friends following the service at the Trinity Baptist Church.
