Obituary - Pearl Rader

Mrs. Pearl Rader, 78, Passes May 29th

Mrs. Pearl Rader, a lifelong resident of Latah county, died May 29th at Paradise Villa. She was 78.

The daughter of William and Julia Gage she was born at Genesee January 15, 1896. She attended school at Genesee.

She married Oscar Rader at Genesee January 20, 1914. He died in September of 1945. Mrs. Rader and her husband operated a grocery store and meat market at Troy for many years.

She was a member of the Methodist church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Jeannette Smith of Genesee; two brothers, Chet Gage of Sacramento, California and Glen Gage of Lewiston; three sisters, Mrs. Esther Rader of Pullman; Mrs. Ina Forrest of Spokane and Mrs. Louise Wilson of Richmond, Wash.; three grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at Short's Chapel with the Rev. Eric Kallis officiating.

Burial was in Genesee City cemetery.
