Obituary - William W. Maybeary

Illness Fatal To W.W. Maybeary

DEARY-William W. Maybeary of Deary, 68, a retired farmer, died at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Walla Walla Veterans Hospital. He had been ill for about a year with a heart and lung aliment.

Mr. Maybeary had been a north central Idaho resident for more than 20 years, moving to Princeton in 1937 and to Deary in 1947.

He was born at Tampa, Fla., Feb. 3, 1892. He lived in Florida until 1915 and Montana wuntil 1934. He moved to Vale, Ore., in 1934 and to Adrian, Ore., in 1935.

He married Zula Blanche Gordon April 21, 1924, at Billings, Mont. She survives him at Deary.

Other survivors include two sons, Winford Maybeary, Deary, and Gordon Maybeary, San Diego, Calif.; five daughters, Mrs. Harry Campbell, Lewiston; Mrs. Antone Mauhar, Ensign, Mich.; Mrs. Eugene Patterson, Burley; Velma Maybeary, San Diego, and Mrs. Vernon Heustis, Deary; a brother, Charles Maybeary, Nampa, and 22 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Brower-Wann Chapel, Lewiston, with the Rev. Charles Heustis, minister of the Deary Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Normal Hill Cemetery, Lewiston.

Funeral Rites Held For William Maybeary

Funeral services were held for William W. Maybeary, 66, yesterday at Brower-Wann Chapel. The Rev. Charles Heustis, pastor of the Idaho Baptist Church at Deary, officiated.

A retired Deary farmer, Mr. Maybeary died Monday at the Walla Walla Veterans Hospital after a year's illness.

The Rev. Dwight Hall was organist and Maureen Smith sang. Pallbearers were Homer Ailor, John Adams, Norman Neilson, John Adcox, James Bowers and Victor Anderson. Burial was at Normal Hill Cemetery.
