Ole E. Knutson, 86, Succumbs March 29

Ole E. Knutson, 86, a retired farmer and former Genesee resident, died Mar. 29th at Tri State Memorial Hospital of infirmities of age. He had been in poor health for several months.

The son of Steiner and Anniel Peterson Knutson, he was born March 7, 1885, at Genesee. He moved to Nez Perce in 1912. He married Mrs. Georgia Kinyon at Lewiston on Nov. 10, 1960. She survives at the family home.

He was a member of the Lewiston Elks Lodge and the Lutheran church. He attended public schools at Genesee.

Survivors include a brother, Engel Knutson, Lewiston; two step-sons, Geo. E. Kinyon, Vancouver, Wash. and Neal J. Kinyon, Genesee; six step grandchildren and seven step great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday at 2 p.m. at Brower-Wann Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Martin R. Gulhaugen, pastor of Our Saviors Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial was in Normal Hill cemetery.
