Georgia Knutson Formerly of Area, Dies at Clarkston

CLARKSTON -- Funeral services for a former Genesee area resident, Georgia K. Knutson, 77, will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Merchant Funeral Home with the Rev. Al. L. Abrahamson officiating. Burial will be at Moscow City Cemetery at 3:30 p.m.

Mrs. Knutson, the former Georgia Kinyon, lived for a number of years in the Lenville area northeast of Genesee. She married Neal Kinyon at Havre, Mont. Oct. 14, 1913. He died in 1944. Mrs. Kinyon moved to Lewiston in 1950.

She married Ole Knutson at Lewiston Nov. 10, 1960. He died March 29, 1971.

She was a member of the Lutheran Church and several women's groups.

Survivors include two sons, George E. (Pete) Kinyon, Vancouver, Wash., and Neal J. Kinyon, Clarkston, five grandsons, nine-great-grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. A daughter, Mildred, died May 22, 1939.

The family suggests memorials to the charity of the donor's choice.
