Myrtle Kinnier, 84, Passes January 11

Funeral service for Mrs. Myrtle Kinnier, 84, who died January 11 was held Monday at 2 p.m. at Short's Funeral Chapel. The Rev. David Almon officiated. Burial in Moscow cemetery.

Organist was Mrs. Ruby Ames and vocalist Norman Logan.

Pallbearers were Norman Spence, Ben Johann, Orville Rommell, and Glen Westberg, all of Moscow; Phillip Sawyer, Potlatch, and Glen Jones, Genesee.

Mrs. Kinnier was born June 30, 1888 at Parkington S.D. She married Percy Kinnier at Moscow July 11, 1906. He died July 6, 1971. Kinnier was a retired farmer, having farmed in the Lenville area.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Opal Peterson, of Genesee and Mrs. Wesley Peterson, of Moscow; a grandson, Bernard Peterson, also of Moscow; two sisters, Ethel Wegner, of Oaks, N.D. and Inez Frederickson of Chester, Montana, and two great grandchildren.
