Florence B. Jabbora, 94, Moscow

Florence Barbara Jabbora, a longtime Moscow resident, died Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011, at Aspen Park Healthcare Center. She was 94. She was born in Farmington, Wash., to Edgar D. and Barbara Anderson Rice.

She grew up in Whitman County and graduated from Palouse High School.

Florence and John J. Jabbora were married in Camp Chaffee, Ark., March 25, 1948. They owned and operated Johnnie's Cafe in Moscow for many years. He died in February 1986.

Florence is survived by numerous great-nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Johnnie, she was preceded in death by sisters, Zenobia and Alice; and brothers, Wycliffe, Clarence and Alfred.

At her request, a private graveside service was conducted at the Moscow Cemetery.

The family suggests that memorials be made to St. Mary's School Foundation, P.O. Box 8485, Moscow, ID 83843, in her memory.
