Obituary - Ardythe L. Heimgartner

Ardythe L. Heimgartner, 58, Juliaetta Resident

Juliaetta -- Ardythe L. Heimgartner, a Juliaetta homemaker, died of cancer Wednesday at her home. She was 58.

She was born Feb. 17, 1932, to Clarence and Luella Engberg Lindor at Bellingham, Wash. She lived at Bellingham until the mid-1940s, shen she moved to Coeur d'Alene and then to Kendrick in 1947.

She graduated from Kendrick High School. She married Roy D. Heimgartner July 20, 1951, at Colfax.

Mrs. Heimgartner enjoyed caring for her lawn and gardens, arranging flowers, working with stained glass, quilting, needlepoint, embrodiery, knitting and watching her grandchildren participate in sports.

Survivors include her husband, Roy, of Juliaetta; two sons, Lee Heimgartner of Juliaetta and Dale Heimgartner of Naknek, Alaska; a sister, Ione Peters of Juliaetta; two brothers, Harold Lindon of Newport, Ore., and Elmer Lindon of Ione, Wash.; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. today and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Malcom's Brower-Wann Memorial Chapel at Lewiston. The funeral will be at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Saturday with burial at the Fix Ridge Cemetery. The Rev. Lonnie Williams will officiate.

The family suggests any memorials be contributions to Hospice of the Palouse, the Juliaetta-Kendrick Ambulance Fund or the Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children.
