Alma Addie Steigers Hammond, 80, Starbuck

Alma Addie Steigers Hammond, 80, of Starbuck, Wash., left us on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011.

She was born April 23, 1931, to Robert and Ruth Steigers in Juliaetta.

She was married Sept. 5, 1950, and spent her life loving and raising her children. They had a son and a daughter. She also had the privilege to help raise two more daughters that became part of her life and family. Upon remarrying on March 21, 1975, she was blessed with two more daughters along with two more sons. Also surviving Alma are seven wonderful grandchildren; four very special great-grandchildren with another on the way. Alma's greatest joy in life was her family.

Outspoken, mischievous, she had a great sense of humor, was strong minded and lovable. Our love for her will last forever.

A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, at Starbuck (Wash.) Community Church.
