Former Genesee Resident Dies In California

CLEAR LAKE PARK, Calif. -- George Grieser, 62, former Genesee, Idaho, resident, died Sunday afternoon. Death was attributed to cancer.

He was the son of Charles and Anna Grieser, and was born Sept. 20, 1908, at Genesee. He lived at Genesee until the early 1940s when he moved to Calfiornia.

He was part owner and manager of the Stelle Window Corporation at Los Angeles for several years.

He married Gerri Staggs at Los Angeles.

Survivors include two brothers, Andrew and Bernard, both of Genesee; five sisters, Mrs. Helen McDermott, Los Angeles, Mrs. Verna Norman, Seattle; Mrs. Theresa Johann and Mrs. Doloris Loncosti, both of Spokane; and Mrs. Margaret Rosenberger, Lewiston.

Funeral and burial services will be at Clear Lake.
