Obituary - Sophie M. Gray

Sophie Gray, Genesee Native, Died Tuesday

GENESEE -- Sophie M. Gray, whose parents were pioneer Genesee farmers died Tuesday at Paradise Villa Nursing Home. She was 71.

She was born Oct. 2, 1903, at Genesee, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Nicholson. She married Robert Gray at Genesee Oct. 2, 1921. The couple farmed near Genesee.

She was a member of the Genesee Community Church.

Funeral services wll be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Genesee Community Church with the Rev. Bryce McProud officiating. Burial will be in Genesee City Cemetery.

Short's Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

As survivors Mrs. Gray leaves her husband at the family home; three sisters, Mrs. Marie Shepherd, Portland; Mrs. Hope McNeil of Kamiah, and Mrs. Thelma Nurry of Missoula.
