Rites Conducted For Leona Geltz

GENESEE -- The funeral for Mrs. Leona Geltz, 86, a Genesee pioneer who died Sunday, was held Wednesday at the Genesee Community Church with the Rev. Peter Unruh officiating. Mrs. Martin Stout sang hymns and Mrs. Jerry Johnson was organist.

Pallbearers were Richard L. Garlinghouse and Paul D. Mulalley, Lewiston; Donnely Rogers and Eldon Rogers, Portland; Leo Dammon, Grangeville and Melvin Rogers, Walla Walla.

Honorary pallbearers were Glen Sampson, Spokane; Bruce H. Wardrobe, Lewiston, and Ray J. Johann, Leland Emmett, Ozzie Kanikkeberg, Walter Currin, Donald E. Springer and Kenneth E. Aherin, all of Genesee.

Burial was at Genesee City Cemetery with Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home of Lewiston in charge.
