Obituary - Anna M. Garrett

Anna M. Garrett, 71, Passes April 27 in Pullman

Anna M. Garrett, 71, long-time resident of Genesee, died at 4:00 p.m. Saturday at the Pullman Convalescent Center where she was being cared for.

She was born October 30, 1902, at Genesee the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dedrick Scharnhorst. She married T.D. Garrett December 24, 1920 at Genesee. He passed away in January of this year.

Mrs. Garrett was a member of St. John's Lutheran church and a lifetime member of the Ladies Aid Society.

She is survived by a son, Leroy Garrett, Seattle, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Koster, Genesee and Mrs. Emma Carver, Lewiston; a brother, Louis Scharnhorst Genesee and three grandchildrn [sic] and one great grandchild. A son Tommy is deceased.

The funeral was held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran church with the Rev. William Leed officiating.

Pallbearers were Phil Greenwell, Ralph Koster, D.F. Scharnhorst, John Scharnhorst, Kenneth Jenkins, Robert Herman.

Burial in St. John's Lutheran cemetery.
