Harry E. Edwards, 72, Passes April 13

Harry Everett Edwards, 72, a retired employee of Pacific Fruit & Continental Oil Co., died Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph's hospital of a heart attack.

Edwards had lived at Lewiston since 1921. He was born June 22, 1901 at Lincoln, Nebraska to Mr. and Mrs. Nathaniel Edwards. In 1902 they moved to Genesee where they stayed until coming to Lewiston.

He was night foreman at Pacific Fruit for 21 years and worked at Continental Oil for another 15 years before retiring.

He married Martha Hasfurther at Asotin on Nov. 19, 1920. She survives him at their home. Other survivors include three daughters, Vivian Storey of Lewiston; Bonnie Schumacher of Troy, and Ruth Dramman of Grangeville; a brother, R.E. Edwards of Genesee; 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

The funeral was Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Malcom's Brower-Wann Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Lee Bohannon of the First Christian Church officiated. Burial at Lewis-Clark Memorial Gardens.
