George Ebel of Los Angeles, a former resident of Genesee and Lewiston, died March 13 at Los Angeles of a heart attack. He was 71.
He was born June 29, 1905 at Moscow, the son of Charles and Freida Ebel, pieneer [sic] Genesee farmers. Ebel grew up and then farmed at Genesee. He also worked for a time for J.C. Penney at Lewiston. He moved to California in 1933.
He is survived by his widow, Sally, three children and three brothers, Robert Ebel of Lewiston, and Bruno and Irven Ebel, both of Spokane; and two sisters, Freda Jackson of Lewiston and Frances Lawrence of Eagle, Idaho.
