Edna V. Driscoll Dies of Stroke

Edna V. Driscoll, a native of Pomeroy and a resident of Genesee until she moved to Lewiston in 1965, died of a stroke at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, at St. Joseph's Hospital.

She had been ill since Jan. 22. Her home at the time of her death was 323 3rd St.

Miss Driscoll was the daughter of Timothy and Caroline Driscol [sic], moved with her parents to Genesee while still a child. She attended grade school at Genesee and later commuted to Lewiston to attend high school.

She was a life-long member of St. Mary's Altar Society and a communicant of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.

Requiem mass was celebrated at 9 Friday morning at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. The Rev. John J. O'Hara was the celebrant. Burial was at the Genesee Catholic Cementery [sic].

The following were bearers: Jerry Linehan, Dale L. Becker, Donald S. Becker, Charles Swenson, Richard Bodine and Eugene H. Grieser.
