Thomas W. Dresher, 63, Dies at Lewiston Home

Thomas W. Dresher, former Genesee resident died Saturday at his home of a heart attack.

He was born Jan. 3, 1911, at Genesee to William and Minnie Dresher.

He worked at the wheat warehouse in Genesee until 1956, when he moved to Lewiston working for the same company.

He was a member of the Eagles Lodge and St. Stanislaus Catholic church. He served with the U.S. Army from Feb. 17, 1944 to April 3, 1946 in France.

He married Garce D. Teed at Lewiston on Sept. 4, 1952. She survives him at their home.

Other survivors are three sisters, Adeline Stricker of Genesee; Frances Barbee of Yakima and Mary Dresher of Weiser; a daughter Evona Bond at Clarkston; 2 grandchildren; an uncle, Walter Currin of Genesee; four nieces and seven nephews.

The rosary was Tuesday at 7:30 at Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home. Funeral mass at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at St. Stanislaus Catholic church with burial in Lewis-Clark Memorial Gardens.

Funeral Service April 17 For Thomas Dresher

The funeral service for Thomas W. Dresher, who passed away April 13 at his Lewiston home was held April 17 at 2 p.m. at St. Stanislaus church with the Rev. Fr. John J. O'Hara, S. J. officiating. Organist was Marie Schnider; soloist Eugene Rainville.

Bearers were George D. Hardway, Kenneth J. Berg, Farrel J. Wilson, Gerald A. Moser, Everett R. Newmann, Ralph E. Kelley.

Honorary: George A. Geboe, Ernest Magney, Evert Boten, Orval T. Landers, Albert Gall, William G. Ward, Carl J. Lehfeldt, Walter McGarvey.

Concluding services: Lewis-Clark Gardens, Lewis-Clark Post No. 13 American Legion. Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home, directors.
