Rose Mary Dahm, Lifelong Area Resident, Dies

UNIONTOWN -- A lifelong resident of the Colton-Uniontown area, Rose Mary Dahm, 90, died yesterday orning at the Latah Convalescent Center where she had been a resident for six weeks.

She was born May 7, 1886, in Colton, to Sebastian and Mary Dahm. Three years later the family moved south of town, but the mother and daughters returned to Colton when her father died in 1914.

For a number of years Miss Dahm was a clerk in several Uniontown stores. For several years before her retirement she was an assistant at the post office there. In earlier life she assisted relatives and friends with their house work.

She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church of Uniontown. She belonged to the national Catholic Society of Foresters and the Altar Society.

As survivors she leaves a brother, Edward J., Uniontown, two sisters, Sister M. Wilma, Mount Alverno Convent, Redwood City, Calif.; Louise Dahm, Uniontown, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be recited Monday at 7:30 p.m. at St. Boniface Church Requiem mass will be held there Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Uniontown Cemetery. Kimball Funeral Home, Pullman, is in charge.
