June LaRaine Cleveland

June LaRaine Cleveland, formerly of Moscow, died peacefully at her home Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011. She was born June 29, 1941, to Arthur and Irene Dahlin Fredrickson in Troy. She was the sixth of seven children.

June married on Feb. 20, 1960. They raised their three children in Moscow. When all of the kids were in school she began working outside the home; first at Western Printing (Daily Idahonian), Queen City Printing and 18 years at WSU Printing and Publication. She retired July 1, 2006. June and her husband moved to Lewiston in December 2003.

She loved pulling pranks on family and friends. She enjoyed camping, four-wheeling and playing cards or dice. June and her husband started traveling to Arizona in 2003, developing special friendships with fellow snowbirds.

June is survived by husband at their home; sons; daughters; grandchildren; great-grandson; brothers; sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Pearl and brother-in-law Joe (Pudgy) Parkins.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home, 920 21st Ave. in Lewiston. A covered-dish luncheon will follow at the VFW Hall, 1104 Warner Ave. in Lewiston.
