Funeral services for Harold G. Carbuhn, a former Genesee area resident, will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Short's Chapel with the Rev. Lee Bohannon officiating. Burial will be in Normal Hill Cemetery, Lewiston.
Carbuhn, 69, died Saturday at 12:15 p.m. in his Lewiston home, apparently from a heart attack.
He was born Jan. 30, 1906, at Portland, Ore., the son of George and Edith Carbuhn. He was graduated from Lewiston High School in 1926. He worked for Holt Tractor Co. at Lodi, Calif., then farmed near Genesee for a number of years. He was retired, but had been self-employed as a woodsworker in recent years.
He married Laura Dennis at Genesee, Sept. 28, 1928. She died May 2, 1974.
Survivors include a son, Donald Carbuhn, Bloomsfield, N.M.; a brother, Estil Carbuhn, Genesee; a sister, Irma Bennett, Lewiston; two grandchildren, and two-great-grandchildren. A daughter Myrna, died previously.
