Leo Bieren, 55, a lifetime resident of Moscow, died Friday at 1:30 a.m. at Gritman hospital, Moscow.
He was born June 4, 1910 at Cottonwood, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bieren. He married Eleanor Broemeling at Genesee July 12, 1931. She survives him at home.
Bieren was a member of the Catholic church and of the Moose Lodge and at the time of his death was employed at the University of Idaho heating plant.
In addition to his widow, he is survived by four sons, Dean, Keith, Jerry, and John, all of Moscow; two brothers, Benjamin, Clarkston, and Peter, Yakima; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Wieber, Pullman and Mrs. George Fliecks, Potlatch, and seven grandchildren.
Rosary was at 7 p.m. Sunday and mass was celebrated at 10 am. Monday, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Moscow. The Rev. Fr. Urban Schmidt officiated. Burial was at the Moscow Catholic Cemetery.
