Nicholas "Nick" F. Bielenberg, 91, a retired farmer and long a resident of the Genesee-Moscow area, died early yesterday morning at Paradise Villa Convalescent Center. He had been a resident there for several months.
Bielenberg was the uncle of Moscow attorney Len Bielenberg, who will be a pall bearer at the funeral.
He was born Aug. 17, 1883, in Fod du Lac, [sic] Wis., the son of Henry and Mary Bielenberg. He was nine-months-old when his parents moved to Colton. They farmed there for three years then moved to Moscow.
Bielenberg married the former Mary Kluss Herman in 1935. She died in 1958.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Genesee and a charter member of the Genesee Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include three sisters, Helen Jutte, Spokane; Florence Bielenberg, Lewiston, Agnes Reisenauer, Colton; three brothers, Joseph, Uniontown; Edwin and Herman, Genesee; two step-daughters, Mary Louise Esser, Genesee; Maureen Greco, Lewiston; a step-son, Don L. Herman, Missoula, Mont., 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Rosary will be recited tonight at 7:30 p.m. at St. Mary's Church. Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at St. Mary's with burial following in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home, Lewiston, is in charge of arrangements.

He was born Aug. 17, 1883, at Fon du Lac, Wis., and was 9 months old when his parents, Henry and Mary Bielenberg, moved to Colton. After farming there for three years, the family moved to Moscow.
