Hazel M. Archibald, 71, a resident of Lewiston since 1950, died February 18, at St. Joseph's hospital. She had suffered a stroke three weeks ago.
Mrs. Archibald, who lived at Genesee from 1908 until 1950, was the widow of Judson Archibald who died at Lewiston April 22, 1958.
She was born May 17, 1904 at Hay, Minn., the daughter of John and Xenia Michaelson.
She married Archibald at Lewiston in October of 1933. They farmed in the Genesee area for many years.
Mrs. Archibald is survived by a daughter, Glenda Davis of Las Vegas; a son, John Archibald of Lewiston; two sisters, Dolly Curtis, Lewiston and Mildred Hull of Cashmere, Wa.; eight grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
The funeral was held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Brower-Wann Chapel. Burial in Lewis-Clark Memorial Gardens.
