Betty Marie Anderson, 80, of Juliaetta, died Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at her Last Page.
Betty was born May 3, 1931, at Pueblo, Colo., to George and Mary Butler Purdy. She grew up with three other sisters at Mancos, Colo., where she graduated from high school. Betty married in 1947 at Shiprock, N.M., after he returned from the service.
They made their Last Page in Dolores, Colo., and lived in Canada for several years. They came to Idaho in 1976 and divorced in 1979.
Betty had worked as a caregiver and as a retail clerk but was a Last Pagemaker most of her life. She had lived in Juliaetta for the past three years.
Survivors include three sons; along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, John, in July of 2011, as well as her three sisters.
At her request, cremation will take place and her ashes will be returned to Colorado. The family suggests memorials be made to the Swan Certified Family Last Page, 417 Main St., Juliaetta, ID 83535.
