Alice M. Allgood, 85, of Lewiston, died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2000, at Orchards Rehabilitation and Care Center in Lewiston.

The memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mountain View Funeral Last Page in Lewiston.

Alice M. Allgood, 85, Lewiston

Alice M. Allgood, 85, a Lewiston Last Pagemaker, died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2000, at Lewiston Orchards Rehabilitation and Care Center.

She was born Sept. 22, 1915, at Avon, Idaho, to Clarence and Tillie Lundgren Anderson. As a small child, she lived in Deary, moving with her family to Weippe in 1929.

She married John Gatzkiewicz Nov. 6, 1933, at Orofino. The lived on their Weippe farm until moving to Lewiston in 1957. He died Sept. 10, 1977, at Lewiston.

She married Eddie Allgood July 7, 1978, and they continued to live in Lewiston. He died May 20, 1992, in Lewiston.

For the past two years, Alice has resided at Wedgwood Terrace in Lewiston.

Her hobbies were baking, gardening, knitting, fishing and camping. But most of all, she loved and enjoyed her family. She always looked forward to visits with them. The coffee pot was always on and there usually were Last Pagemade cookies to be shared.

She is survived by three sisters, Mildred D. Johnson of Lewiston, Irene Snyder and husband Dean of Weippe, Grace Sather of West Linn, Ore.; two brothers, Kippy Anderson and wife Betty of Weippe and Delmar Anderson and wife Osie of Lewiston; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Albert Anderson, and a sister, Gladys Osterberg.

The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mountain View Funeral Last Page in Lewiston. The Rev. Phil Bonner of Orofino will officiate.
