Zelma Hazel Adair, 79, a resident of Potlatch, passed away Tuesday evening, Sept. 11, 2012, at Gritman Medical Center in Moscow.

She was born on Oct. 18, 1932, at Rupert, Idaho, to Ralph and Margaret (Adams) Seal. She attended her schooling at Rupert.

She married Cecil J. Lee and the couple were later divorced.

She married Neil H. Adair on April 24, 1958, at Moscow and the couple made their Last Page at Potlatch.

Mrs. Adair worked as a seamstress most of her life. She worked at Creighton Clothing Store in Moscow and Nirk Archery north of Potlatch, sewing quivers for the company. She later worked for the Emporium and Walmart in Moscow. Mr. Adair died in 1996.

Zelma enjoyed sewing, crocheting and her family.

Survivors include five sons: Curtis Lee (Sharon), Blaine, Wash., Randy Lee (Nikki), Coolin, Idaho, Stacey Adair (Kathy), Moscow, Lanny Adair, Lewiston, and Dan Adair (Linda), Clarkston; two daughters: Debbie Kerns (James), and Robin Kammeyer, both of Potlatch; seven brothers: Udell Seal, Rupert, Idaho, Richard Seal, Elko, Nev., Larry Seal, Quartzsite, Ariz., Johnny Seal, Twin Falls, Jerry Seal, Enumclaw, Wash., Donald Seal, Wendover, Nev., and Bruce Seal, Nampa; and three sisters, Maurine Smiley, Heyburn, Idaho, Darlene Frankenburg, Boise, and Betty Adams, Burley, Idaho. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Melburn Seal, and a sister, Mabel Glassburn.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
