Maggie Moser Celebrates 90th

Maggie Moser, a resident of Colton most of her life, is celebrating her 90th birthday this week.

Here for her party were the families of her four children, Ray Moser of Reno, Roy Moser of Colton, Esther James of Tacoma and Lucille Moser of Genesee.

Mrs. Moser was born Nov. 3, 1883, at Carol, Iowa, to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Semler and came here with them when she was 3. Robert E. Moser whom she married in 1904, was a blacksmith and Whitman County Road Department employe [sic].

Since his death in 1954, Mrs. Moser has lived alone, keeping busy with gardening, canning and needlework. She took her first plane ride in August.
